Proofreading and Editing

Need someone to edit and/or proofread your e-book, novel, or any writing?

Click here to read Janet’s testimonial about my editing skills. I helped her edit her e-book as well as did a final proofread on two of her client’s books.

Single, Focused Landing Page

What’s a landing page?

A landing page (here’s one, here’s another) is the web page you want your customers to see first. Usually, it is the home page on your product or services website. But it can also be a dedicated page where you get a lead (e-mail address) for your prospect by having them opt-in for your lead generator, like your newsletter or free report.

Individual E-mail Campaign, E-newsletter Issue

Includes discussing the topic, doing research, and/or interview(s), and writing content. Formatting in your email platform is extra.

What’s an E-mail Campaign?

An e-mail campaign usually consists of a minimum of 3 e-mails. The maximum? Potentially, you could send out an e-mail every day. Some companies and individuals I know do just that. An e-mail campaign keeps you on the top of your prospect’s mind. When he finally decides to buy, order, or join, you and your product/service will be the one on the top of his radar.

What’s an E-newsletter?

E-newsletters are essentially e-mails disguised as newsletters. They can be very simple or have a ton of graphics. Depending on the product and service, you choose simple or graphic-laden. Or maybe just one graphic to start out.

E-newsletters deliver relevant information on topics of interest to your prospect. An e-newsletter can be a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or a quarterly publication. The length of the e-newsletter varies greatly and can feature your post, your website, third-party articles, etc.

Blog Post or Online Article

Blog posts and online articles can be anywhere from short, say 300-word blurbs, to 1500+ word in-depth articles. Blog posts appear on your blog. To rank on Google, you need to post a minimum of twice a week. And you want to make sure you have at least five posts all ready to go before you begin. That way you don’t become stressed about it. No one wants to be stressed.

Your blog posts can be as varied as the websites out there. For yours to stand out, you need to make sure you have good, oops, sorry— GREAT content and that it is relevant, up-to-date on research, and well written. This can happen when you have a good writer on staff who knows what you want and most of all, knows how to write. And not just write well, but also edit their own work, and proofread until no mistakes are present.

(Disclaimer: No one is perfect. I find mistakes in great written works all the time. Including mine. There might be a mistake I haven’t noticed even in this description. This is just a fact of life.) We are human, after all.

Sales Brochure

You can find sales brochures everywhere! In doctor and dentist offices. Realtor’s give them out to prospective home buyers. Lawyers and health care providers have the longest and most intricate brochures.

What can you tell a prospective customer in your sales brochure? Just about everything they need to know to make a decision so they will choose your product or service. Since most sales brochures use bullet points (my favorite type of list) they are easy to read and you can pack a ton of excellent information into each bullet.

Lead Generator (Sign up on any page to receive a copy of my free report!)

A lead generator is a free or low-cost report you might offer your customers to pique their interest in your product or service. See how that works? The link takes you to my home page where you can sign up for the free report I offer. You can do the same. And I can write the report for you. Let’s talk about the best type, best length, and the best topic for your report. (I’m working on changing this to reflect my new niche in self-improvement copywriting.)

Or read my blog post about NEWSLETTERS! That’s one of my other lead generators.

White Paper /Special Report

A whitepaper is a persuasive, authoritative, in-depth report on a specific topic that presents a problem and provides a solution.

Depending on your product or service, you might consider offering a white paper or special report as your lead generator.

Press Release

Tell the world what incredible products or services you offer! Press releases get you noticed locally or even nationally. Many newspapers are so hungry to have information and news-ready articles, that national newspapers glean the locals and voila- you could be famous overnight! Ok, it doesn’t necessarily happen overnight… especially if your press release is not well written. Or contains mistakes. Or incorrect information/research. Let’s talk about the best way to get your product or service in the news.

Article or Advertorial

Articles can be now written online or offline. And it might seem that you could just rinse and repeat with the same article, but that is not true. In traditional paper publishing, the article does not have to contain SEO (Search Engine Optimization) words. Google Analytics doesn’t come into play at all. But in online articles, you better have some good SEO and write it so that Google likes it. And that’s why articles can be very different indeed.

I’m also a Published Author

I co-authored, edited, proofread, published, and market our teacher’s toolkit. In less than a year, we had two complete books published and on several online outlets including Amazon.com.

In December 2017, I launched my first e-book: The Happy Teacher Solution – Guided Meditation for Teachers.

Contact me and let’s talk about the best way I can help you.

As every project is different and every client has different needs, please use the contact form,  or email. Let’s figure out together what your needs and wants are for your self-improvement copy.

P.S. When I’m in the middle of writing, I don’t answer or read messages. – I want to give your copy the attention it deserves –

And here’s why:

“Practice without purpose is nothing more than exercise. Double your intensity with skill.”- TKN

Which means I write every day. A minimum of 1,500 words whether I’m working on client copy or the next e-book.
